As United Methodists, we celebrate the spiritual journey that has led you to this point! When you commit to joining Westminster UMC, you agree to support what Jesus is doing through this church with your "prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness."
Please contact us so we can properly welcome you and your family to the Westminster Community. We now welcome visitors to join on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
There are several ways to join:
Transfer of membership from another United Methodist Church - If you are currently a member of another United Methodist Church, you may simply transfer your membership to Westminster UMC.
Transfer of membership from another denomination -If you are currently a member of another denomination, you may transfer to the United Methodist Church. You will be asked to support the church with your "prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness."
Reaffirmation of faith - If you have been baptized but have not been active in a church in some time, you may join by reaffirming your faith and promising to support the church with your "prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness."
Confession/Profession of faith - If you have never been baptized or made a decision to join a church, you may join by confession of your faith and Christian Baptism. Methodists do not use immersion for Baptism.
