Has this ever happened to you? You’re fielding question after question about dinner and dinosaurs and Paw Patrol, and then suddenly you get this: “How old is God?” Umm…
Or maybe you get, “Who made God?” Or, “Where is heaven?” Or even, “Am I going to heaven?”
Talking to kids about faith is exceedingly important, but it can be hard. Truth is, behind most of those questions is a deeper question that adults want to know also. Why can’t we see God? What’s with the cross business? Where is heaven anyway?
This summer, Westminster is going to tackle the questions. Every sermon will be answering a question, while also empowering you to have faith-forming conversations with your kids.
We’ll have conversation kits each week with a story, a conversation-starter, and an age-appropriate craft. Pick them up in worship, or—if you’re worshipping online—we’ll drop it on your doorstep.
Don’t have kids? I’ll be you still have people asking you questions. Turns out, adults really don’t understand a lot of this stuff either. These same skills will help you answer questions from your coworkers, family members, and friends.
Have a question we didn’t get to? Submit it here. We’re going to start a page on our website with answers to whatever questions you need help answering.
Bring your questions and join us starting in June for Stuff Kids Ask (And Adults Want to Know Too!)
